We handle obtaining Aircraft Operating Certificate for our clients. To obtain an AOC in Turkey is more cost effective than any other nearby jurisdictions. It generally takes 12 to 16 weeks to set up an AOC if all of your documents are in order. We set up a local company. This can be done in 3-5 days. Even though Turkey is not an EASA member, we comply with all EASA rules and regulations, JAR OPS-1. We have to comply with SHY-6A terms and conditions. The first step in obtaining your Turkish AOC is to set up a pre-ops meeting with the Civil Aviation Directorate in Ankara. The DGCA here are very strict with their requirements. Regulation is paramount, they will not cut corners but they are very flexible within the regulations and respond very quickly to requests. AOC applicants must adhere to the DGCA rules, set out in the SHY-6A. The operator has to satisfy th DGCA that its organization and management are suitable and properly matched to the scale and scop of the operations, and procedures for the supervision of the operation have been defined. The specific requirements are detailed in the SHY-6A. The timeframe for issuance is usually 7 to 9 months, if all the supporting documents are in order. Prime Servis also organizes a consultation with our Certified Public Accountant (CPA) team to advice on taxation issues.
